The multi-billion dollar China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), that links western China with Gwadar deep-sea port in Balochistan and runs through Pakistan- occupied Kashmir may be a matter of concern for India but Iran on Thursday expressed desire to become part of it. It may be seen as a jolt to India’s desire to isolate Pakistan on the world stage.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in a meeting with Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on the sidelines of the 71st UN General Assembly session conveyed this desire. Where the world is coming together against terrorism, countries like Pakistan, China and now Iran are coming together with a lame excuse of so-called China-Pak Economic Corridor that has been built through the part of Kashmir that has been forcefully occupied by Kashmir.
This desire of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani shows that world cannot ever stand together against terrorism because of personal interests of selfish countries that do not think about humanity but about their own interests.
India has concerns over the US dollar 46 billion China-Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC) being laid through Pak occupied Kashmir.
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is going country to country crying about his false claims of human rights violation in Kashmir by it central government.
The lifting of international sanctions against Iran has paved the way for resumption of economic relations between the two countries. Current trade volume remains low at USD 268 million per annum.
It seems that gradually all the nations that support terrorism and are against humanity will come together because these nations believe in imperialism. Such approach can lead the whole humanity towards the third world war that has started to seem inevitable now.
