In India, it is quite easy to find Dalit leaders in almost every constituency. One can easily find some leader talking about Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, sentiments of Dalits or rights of Dalits. Mayawati, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Nitish Kumar and one more name that has been recently added to the list is Arvind Kejriwal (aka- AK-47, because of his nature to support anarchy and talking nonsense) are some of the most prominent faces who focus entirely on Dalit votebank.
However, the biggest question is- do they really care for Dalits? Congress ruled for almost 60 years in India and has ruled most of the states for several decades but it could bring no change in the condition of dalits or poor farmers. No party has ever worked to improve the condition of Dalits or supressed. They have always worked for their own benefit.
Now, we have an example of Mayawati. She came into power because of the Dalit votebank but she never started educational institutes specially for Dalits where these poor people could get free and quality education. She did not try to connect them to the main stream by bringing development to their villages and areas. She could have started skill training institutes devoted to Dalits where these people could learn some free technical skills. But she took no such revolutionary step except delivering speeches that rooted the seeds of hatred in the hearts of Dalits and divided indians. Dalit votebank was her only aim.
Status of Dalits can be improved only when politicians will try to eliminate poverty and illiteracy from India. We all know the education standard of Bihar and UP. These politicians play with the sentiments of Dalit votebank by making statue of some Dalit leader or constructing some park in the name of some great Dalit leader. First of all, Dalit word must not be used. Rather use the word poor Indians and start working for all those Indians who are poor and helpless regardless of their caste or religion. But it cannot be expected from such leaders because they are hungry for power and money.
Let’s talk about Mulayam Singh Yadav. He knows nothing about development. Everyone knows that he openly supports criminals. Same is the situation with Lalu Prasad Yadav. Both the leaders talk senseless but media treats them as national hero or champion of Dalit’s cause. Lalu did nothing for Bihar people during his long tenure as CM of Bihar. Rather the condition of Bihar deteriorated during his regime as CM. Both these leaders did not focus on education or industrial development. However, because of careless voters and their ignorance, these leaders gained power again and again.
Now, a new power-hungry leader, Kejriwal who talks senseless is following the same path that was made by Lalu Prasad Yadav, Mulayam, Mayawati and Congress. Rather than focusing on development of Delhi or restoring rule of law in Delhi, he is keen to step in national politics by dividing Indians and is supporting openly to the anarchists like JNU criminals who openly raised slogans against India. These JNU criminals are directly linked to groups and parties like CPI, CPM and naxalites. These JNU criminals celebrate when any Indian soldier is murdered or killed by Naxalites. Naxalites, CPI and CPM blindly follow and support China.
We must understand that such people want to bring anarchy in India and to destabilize indian government. They have silent support of Congress that wants to rule India at any cost.
Recently, some such power-hungry and self-centered leaders protested against government on some issues related to Dalits. Why? Because they don’t want GST bill to be passed in parliament that can bring a lot of changes. They are against growth and development of India. They don’t care about Dalits. If they really cared, the standard of living of Dalits would have improved several years ago. They are fighting for their personal interests and not for Dalits. While Narendra Modi wants to bring a change and is fighting not only for Dalits, hindus or muslims but for entire nation, such leaders are fighting for power and money. Such issues related to the sentiments of innocent people are raised to block any bill of national interest in parliament or to deviate the focus from issues of national or international importance.
